Enrichment

We believe that trips, outings, workshops and visiting performers are an essential and integral part of the curriculum, enriching all that we do in the classroom. It is therefore hoped that all the children will take part in a curriculum-related trip and possibly additional cultural trips each term.

Pupils also go on residential trips. Currently these trips are France (Year 6), Wales (Y5), Bushcraft (Year 4) and an outdoor pursuits centre in Devon (Year 3).

Parents’ permission is sought and required before any child goes on a trip. Residential trips are charged to parents, but the cost of day trips and workshops is included in the school fees.
